Body and finish
Body and paint
Dents pulled, panels repaired and paint made good again.
Small scratches, a dented door or a panel damaged in a collision can all be repaired, but each needs a different approach. We inspect the damage first, including whether anything behind the panel was affected, before deciding whether to pull, repair or replace.
We explain the repair options and the estimate as they are. If a panel can be saved, we say so. If replacing it makes more sense, we tell you why. Work starts once you agree.
Painting is done in the paint booth so the finish stays free of dust. The colour is matched to the vehicle's original paint and checked under different light before the vehicle goes back to you. All the work is written into the service record.

Questions
Will the new paint match exactly?
We match the colour to the vehicle's original paint and check it under different light. Old paint that has seen a lot of sun can fade slightly, so sometimes the next panel needs blending so the change does not show. We explain this when we give the estimate.
Can a dent be fixed without repainting?
Sometimes, if the dent is shallow and the paint has not cracked. We look first and tell you whether that is possible for your damage.
How long does body and paint work take?
It depends on how much damage there is, how many panels are involved and whether any panel has to be ordered. Paint also needs enough time to cure before it is polished. We give a time estimate together with the cost estimate.
